Russian-born guitar virtuoso Grigory "Grisha" Goryachev is world-renowned for his technical virtuosity and musical sensitivity. He is among the very few guitarists in the world that are equally proficient in both classical and flamenco styles. Mr. Goryachev began playing guitar at the age of six, studying first with his father Dmitry, and gave his first solo recital just three years after. Mr. Goryachev toured all over Eastern and Western Europe and the United States, performing both classical and flamenco works. After immigrating to the United States in 1995, Grisha received his Bachelor, Master and Doctor of Musical Arts (dissertation pending) degrees from the New England Conservatory of Music, where he studied under famous guitar virtuoso Eliot Fisk.
